2019 CESH Ranking and Allocations

On March 21, 2019, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) announced approximately $29 million in funding to assist persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

 

Imperial County’s allocation is $627,542 of which $31,376 is available for administrative cost and $74,844 will be utilized by the Continuum of Care (CoC) to develop the Coordinated Entry System (CES) and update the Homeless Strategic Plan.

 

The Imperial Valley Continuum of Care in collaboration with the Department of Social Services, as the administrative entity (AE) has been allocated $627,542 of CESH 2019 funds which shall be used to prioritize assistance to homeless individuals and families over assistance to individuals and families at risk of homelessness.

 

Qualified applicants interested in applying must submit their CESH 2019 proposals in accordance with this RFP no later than:

Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

​

The CESH 2019 funds are available for the following eligible activities:

​

• ​Rental Assistance, housing relocation, and stabilization services

• Operating Support for Emergency Housing Interventions:

  • Navigation Centers

  • Street Outreach

  • Shelter diversion and other necessary service integration activities

• Homeless Management Information System (HMIS):

  • Activities necessary to maintain a comprehensive homeless services and housing delivery system, including CES and HMIS reporting and homelessness planning activities.

  • Activities include training and data collection.

 

Attendance at the 2019 CESH Application Workshop is mandatory for anyone with intent to apply for funding.
